Andrea & Evan’s Wedding at Gardiner Museum

Some weddings just have that magic—where love, laughter, and stunning details come together so effortlessly. Andrea and Evan’s wedding at Gardiner Museum on May 13, 2023, was one of those weddings. From the heartfelt moments to the incredible personal touches, this day was a true reflection of who they are as a couple: fun, authentic, and deeply in love.

As a wedding photographer, I thrive on capturing moments that feel natural and genuine, and this day gave me so much to work with! From the moment Andrea stepped into her dress to the wild dance floor energy at the end of the night, every moment was a dream to document.

Gardiner Museum set the perfect scene for Andrea and Evan’s wedding. With its modern architecture and artful atmosphere, it provided an elegant yet intimate backdrop. The natural light flooding in through the large windows made for some breathtaking portraits, and the open-concept space allowed guests to fully immerse themselves in the celebration. This venue has a way of making every wedding feel like a work of art, and Andrea and Evan’s day was no exception.

One of my favourite details? Andrea’s wedding favours! As the owner of Andrea’s Cookies (seriously, SO good!), she personally baked every single cookie that was gifted to guests. Not only were they delicious, but they also added such a personal, heartfelt touch to the day. It was a beautiful representation of Andrea’s passion and creativity, and I loved seeing guests light up when they received their custom treats.

Andrea and Evan wanted their wedding to be fun, authentic, candid, romantic, and, most importantly, memorable. And with the dream team they assembled, that vision came to life beautifully. Working with Kiera (@kiera.caruso) was an absolute pleasure, as always. Her ability to plan and execute a seamless, stylish, and stress-free wedding is unmatched. Every detail was thoughtfully curated, from the timeline to the decor, ensuring that the couple could just enjoy their day to the fullest.

And let’s talk about the florals! Mythology Floral completely blew me away with their design. The colours were rich, warm, and romantic—perfectly complementing the vibe Andrea and Evan wanted. The arrangements added so much life and beauty to both the ceremony and reception spaces, making every corner feel lush and enchanting.

Andrea’s wedding dress transformation was one of my favourite fashion moments of the day. She started with a stunning gown that featured a voluminous skirt for the ceremony—timeless, elegant, and absolutely breathtaking. But for the reception? She removed the outer skirt, revealing a sleeker, form-fitting dress that was just as chic and elegant. It was such a perfect way to switch up her look for the party without needing a full outfit change.

One of the things I loved most about this wedding was how present Andrea and Evan were throughout the day. They weren’t overly focused on perfection—they were simply enjoying their wedding, celebrating with their favourite people, and soaking in every moment. The way Evan looked at Andrea when she walked down the aisle, the way they laughed through their portraits, the way they completely let loose on the dance floor—it was all so incredibly them.

A huge thank you to Andrea and Evan for trusting me to capture your love story, to Kiera for planning such a flawless day. This wedding will always hold a special place in my heart!
